Dancing Flowers

Have you ever seen flowers dance? Ive had a couple of goes at this and the flowers really do seem to be moving. These are not computer generated but made by waggling a flower in front of a camera during a long exposure. In all cases the flowers are dried as this seems easier to control the movements they are making.

The top image is called “Heart on fire” as it looks a little that way to me. Is supposed to represent a solo dancer. The second matches in colour but has a pair of flowers dancing together.

Dancing flowers seem to work best against a black background. Ive tried with white and the shapes don’t show up as well. Would any of these look good on your wall? I think they would look great as a feature piece.
