A cold frosty and misty Sunday, walks around Calke Abbey and Bradgate park. Love the pastel colours and the way everything is simplified . What about those scarecrows?
Wintery Derbyshire. I love how the snow simplifies and reduces the landscape. As the colour disappears, the images become about patterns . The drystone walls and fences are leading lines. The bones of the trees stand out against the grey sky. These are actually colour images, showing the county as it was yesterday - bleak and atmospheric. Taken from a moving car.
