Time for a February update

Is it really January since I last updated my website? A lot has happened since then but not so much I couldn’t have found a few moments to add my pictures. Id like this blog to become my photo journal, a scrap book of my photos both creative and straight. So let’s dive into an update starting with February.

February

February was cold but I still managed to get out and about with my camera. There was snow on the beach in Scarborough and mist rising from the houses. Heres my interpretation:

The hotel where we stayed had some Alien lighting. Unusually for me this was taken on my phone, It feels more like the solar system than a light installation.

There was also a trip to Hedge End where I took a walk around the nearby estuary. These are a mixture of groynes and old wrecked boats . I rather like the impressionist Monet feel to the piece. It’s a double long exposure.

I note both of these trips were to the coast which is somewhere I head for as often as I can. Strange for a person living in the middle of the country?
